Had the honour of speaking and curating on behalf of @gooseside.diy about the current cultural landscape of skateboarding in Manchester, the impact of DIY building projects and how to use the experience of Gooseside to pioneer for better change in Manchester’s shared public spaces. Was a pleasure to be speaking amongst people that have contributed so much to the scene. The curated DIY exhibition commemorated a selection of memories from the space via a vitrine of objects and selected images from talented local skatepark users.
