Pottery

I started making pottery as a continuation of the Raku ceramic work for "The Artefacts of Man." I attended an independent pottery studio in Moseley, Birmingham where I further learned how to through and glaze basic vessels and forms (eg. tumblers ect.) Some overlap between architecture and pottery are apparent in my view, in terms of forming, the act of containment, craftsmenship, tactility and material honesty. Working with ceramics informs my architectural position, theory and rhetoric as well as vice versa.
